Opening Retreat begins at 7:30 a.m. Monday; ends at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday. Closing Retreat begins at 4:00 p.m. Thursday; ends by 2:00 p.m. Friday. All other sessions are from 7:30 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. School attendance credit will be granted for each school day session attended.
HELP OUT IN YOUR COMMUNITY
Community Service projects, coordinated by Youthserve, will allow participants to have a direct impact on their communities. YLF members are required to participate in two sessions throughout the year. The Saturday workdays will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. October 11, November 22, and December 20, 2008. Additional Saturdays in January, February, March, and April, 2009 will be announced at a later date. [ photos ]
BE A LEADER IN YOUR COMMUNITY
Our leadership skills development sessions will help you develop the specific skills that you need to be a leader in your community. YLF members are required to participate in two sessions throughout the year. Sessions will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-8:00. Workshop dates are: December 9, 2008, January 27, 2009, February 24, 2009 and March 31, 2009. [ photos ] |
