Who is Eligible?

Sophomores and juniors who attend public, parochial and independent schools in the Birmingham metropolitan area and who are residents of the area are eligible. Interested students should:

• Demonstrate leadership in school and/or community activities
• Express an interest in furthering their knowledge of the greater Birmingham area.
• Commit to 100% attendance at all sessions.Rare exceptions may be granted. Contact YLF for details.
• Receive a recommendation and approval to participate from their school.
